Yearning

Yearning for luxuries leads man to commit some of the horrendous crimes, sins, and injustices in the world. Adopting such a defeatist attitude, even if one were to become wealthy and affluent, their efforts would be to no avail because the soul would never be at peace. Despite the superficial feeling of basking in the glory and comfort, fortune and fame, you remain empty inside.

Rather, yearn for harmony with Reality, God, and Nature. There is no bliss equivalent to this feeling of sheer ecstasy. This surpasses all other ecstatic pleasures, including those experienced from the acquisition of wealth and power, sensual pleasures, and domination over others.

While yearning for anything worthwhile, you must make attempts to truly attain what you seek. But this, my friends, will be followed in another note.

Enjoy the weekend,
