Give Without Expecting to Receive in Return

The following is an excerpt from my the book I am currently working on, "How to Always Be Unhappy."

You must learn to give without the expectation of receiving in return. Without the interaction and company of others, we would all be alone with nobody to share with and talk to. Remember, most items are only held as significant in our society because we have placed a price, or worth, on those very items. Without others we would not know the value of the items we feel we need and want. More importantly, sharing makes us feel good because we know that, in one way or another, we can help others by giving of ourselves in a number of ways.

Giving is a great attribute for us as human beings to have. We must learn to become giving towards others and also learn to forgive as well. Forgiveness, too, is another form of giving. When we give without the expectation of receiving, it is an unconditional act. In such a transaction, if you will, a neutralizing effect takes place and what was given is bound to return manifold. Generosity should be held a one of the most profound fulfillments in life, as it results in practicing humility and learning a number of lessons in our daily lives. The joy obtained from giving is much greater than that experienced in receiving and taking what we desire or feel we want or need.

Yearning

Yearning for luxuries leads man to commit some of the horrendous crimes, sins, and injustices in the world. Adopting such a defeatist attitude, even if one were to become wealthy and affluent, their efforts would be to no avail because the soul would never be at peace. Despite the superficial feeling of basking in the glory and comfort, fortune and fame, you remain empty inside.

Rather, yearn for harmony with Reality, God, and Nature. There is no bliss equivalent to this feeling of sheer ecstasy. This surpasses all other ecstatic pleasures, including those experienced from the acquisition of wealth and power, sensual pleasures, and domination over others.

While yearning for anything worthwhile, you must make attempts to truly attain what you seek. But this, my friends, will be followed in another note.

Enjoy the weekend,

Delegating Tasks

The following is an except from my book

How 12 Immigrants Made Billions-12 Keys to Success

Only do what others can’t do for you—Learn to delegate

A crucial key to success is your ability to function efficiently and only do what others cannot do for you. This key requires your self-discipline, leadership ability, and commitment to attain your financial independence. Your time is one of your most valuable assets. How you manage your time to become more efficient is vital to your success plan. The more disciplined you are as an individual, the easier it will be for you to realize where you can improve yourself and your time management skills. This is done through the delegation of tasks to others.

By delegating tasks to others, you free yourself of tasks that get in the way of your focus on increasing your income potential. Your focus on success, outward positivity, and leadership skills will aid you in your effectiveness in the management of others and the delegation of tasks that comes along with employing or otherwise managing other individuals.

Entrepreneurial Passion

The following is another excerpt from my newly released book "How 12 Immigrants Made Billions: 12 Keys to Success." As with all of my books, it can be purchased at http://drsinghbooks.com

To be an entrepreneur involves taking initiative and becoming independent. Typically, entrepreneurs develop a business or organization that is grounded in the strength of that sole individual. Oftentimes, such individuals want to be independent and manage themselves. Furthermore, some people finally realize that in order to make the type of money they dream about, they must work for themselves. Developing your business and establishing that you want to be self-reliant in making yourself successful takes a unique work ethic and mindset. Your passion to be yourself, do what you want to do, and manage your own methods to produce an income gives you a start in becoming an entrepreneur. Being an entrepreneur requires that you are not lazy, do not hesitate, and are extremely personable. To think like an entrepreneur, you must realize that it is solely up to you to produce your own future.

Look for Opportunity

Obstacles tend to crush an individual's capabilities. Yet, if you are firm adventurer you will not succumb when faced with any type of adversity. Make an effort to plant seeds of opportunity; the more you plant and sew, the better chance you will flourish.

Keep a watchful eye for opportunity. It may wear the clothing of an obstacle, fear, or impediment. Do not be fooled by these disguises. See through them, so that you can not only recognize opportunity but seize it when it comes.

Power of Persistence

The following is from my new book, How 12 Immigrants Made Billions: 12 Keys to Success, which is available on http://drsinghbooks.com/.

A common quality in every successful person—Power of persistence

You are positive, goal-oriented, motivated, and have developed strong self-discipline. But all of these attributes will only benefit you once you are able to put them to work for you. Throughout the course of time, there have been many great minds, inventors, and intellectuals. The one characteristic that transforms such a talent into a well-known success story is the ability to work hard to produce more and greater things. Doing so will increase the chances of success and potential for renown.

The annals of history will not record notes about a genius who is lazy, who gives up when facing initial failures in creating something memorable or historical. Those who shine are those with the strongest work ethic. Those who continuously challenge themselves to break free from the pack will distinguish themselves and excel. This is not done by sticking your head in the sand like an ostrich or only having intentions to do something great. Great ideas only lead to success when the principle of hard work is applied during their execution. Success is made, not found. It is something that must be worked on constantly. Everyone knows someone who is a “blowhard,” or a big talker who speaks of goals and successes they have not yet attempted.

Have a great weekend.
