Power of Persistence

The following is from my new book, How 12 Immigrants Made Billions: 12 Keys to Success, which is available on http://drsinghbooks.com/.

A common quality in every successful person—Power of persistence

You are positive, goal-oriented, motivated, and have developed strong self-discipline. But all of these attributes will only benefit you once you are able to put them to work for you. Throughout the course of time, there have been many great minds, inventors, and intellectuals. The one characteristic that transforms such a talent into a well-known success story is the ability to work hard to produce more and greater things. Doing so will increase the chances of success and potential for renown.

The annals of history will not record notes about a genius who is lazy, who gives up when facing initial failures in creating something memorable or historical. Those who shine are those with the strongest work ethic. Those who continuously challenge themselves to break free from the pack will distinguish themselves and excel. This is not done by sticking your head in the sand like an ostrich or only having intentions to do something great. Great ideas only lead to success when the principle of hard work is applied during their execution. Success is made, not found. It is something that must be worked on constantly. Everyone knows someone who is a “blowhard,” or a big talker who speaks of goals and successes they have not yet attempted.

Have a great weekend.
